Well, the end of the school year is approaching fast. Although I believe that I could have done much more with my final product overall, the current results that I have achieved are still good. I was really looking forward to making a team instead of a website, but alas, that just was not meant to be.
On better news, Mr. Dennis and I are waiting to schedule a meeting with the host of Esposure Arena, possibly allowing us to ask questions and learn more about Esports. Our teams also qualified for the Texsef State Championship, so on April 29 and 30 I will be following them to the Arlington arena to cheer them on and do whatever I need to do as a content creator.
Still, I do hold many regrets with my current position right now. I really wanted to be a player instead of a content creator, since all the spotlight and scholarships are focused on the people on stage. But instead, I was relegated to a background support role as the content creator, so yeah... I suppose I have to play with the hand that life has dealt me.
Lastly, as my ISM journey concludes and I move on to college, I am unsure if I will continue with Esports itself as a whole. From the beginning, I had intended to do modding instead, but dropped it due to the lack of credible sources and reputable articles. I might join an Esports club in college, but I doubt it will be anything serious.
